Trust Fund Graduate Scholarships: Support for Your Education

The NCCTM Trust Fund Committee  accepts applications from current NCCTM members who are pre-K-12 teachers and who are taking graduate courses in mathematics or mathematics education as part of a graduate program leading to a graduate degree or graduate add-on mathematics licensure.

The Trust Fund Committee awards scholarships of $1000 to as many qualified applicants as the available investment income from the Trust Fund will permit. Scholarship applications may be submitted during the year, but will be reviewed twice a year.

The application deadlines are:

  • March 1 for courses completed in the previous Fall term.
  • October 1 for courses completed in the previous Spring or Summer term

NCCTM Statement on Equitable Access to Quality Mathematics Instruction

Students need to experience mathematics in ways that allow them to be successful and that give them the power to change the world. This experience needs to be delivered with both excellence and equality while resonating with the lives of Black, Latinx, Indigenous, Asian, and all marginalized peoples. Racism cannot be tolerated, and we as teachers must be vigilant that we do not tolerate nor contribute to racism, bias, hate, or violence in our classrooms.
