State Mathematics Conference
As North Carolina is in the process of drafting and publishing new mathematics standards, Tinker Together invites educators and leaders across the state to explore, design, and learn collaboratively.
This year’s conference centers on hands-on experimentation, data literacy, and shared problem-solving as we build the instructional and leadership supports needed for successful K–12 implementation. “Tinkering” represents curiosity, iteration, and growth — the very mindset we want for our students and ourselves.
What to Expect
- Instructional strategies that elevate student thinking
- Meaningful uses of data to inform decisions
- Tasks that promote modeling, reasoning, and discourse
- Leadership moves that support coherent systems
- Practices that foster joyful learning and equitable access
This conference is a space to think boldly, collaborate deeply, and strengthen our collective commitment to empowering every learner through mathematics and data.
